Brief overview of Investment in RE




Policies, regulations, markets etc. conducive to the development of the RE sector is supplemented by the availability of funds through various investment channels. RE projects in India are financed both by raising debts and infusing equities.

While almost none of the publicly accessible portals related to RE has covered data on investments allaboutrenewables attempts to provide as much investment data as available in public domains to depict a first-hand impression on major investment decisions taken in the RE sector in the recent past.

This web-based portal also tries to envisage availability of finance from various sources such as multilateral donor agencies, banks, NBFCs, various companies etc. spread within and outside the geographical boundaries of India.
